“Last Game at The Forum” (exhibit and book) & “Forum de Montréal” (poster - see below)

“Last Game at The Forum” is a time-capsule photo series Ezra Soiferman shot during the Canadiens' final hockey match at the Montreal Forum on March 11, 1996. The images of the fans, staff, soul and structure of that hallowed building sat "on ice" for two decades until he was ready to bring them to the world.

The shots below appeared in Soiferman’s critically acclaimed coffee table book “Last Game at The Forum” as well as the gallery exhibit which opened at Art Victoria Park in Westmount, Quebec on March 11, 2016, exactly twenty years after the fabled 'last game'.

”Forum de Montréal” Poster

16”x24” “Forum de Montréal” poster (Limited edition of 100)

In May 2026, Ezra Soiferman released a brand new, limited edition 16”x24” photographic print celebrating the 30th anniversary of the last Canadiens game played at the Montreal Forum. The poster features hockey, concert and event tickets from the Forum as collected by Soiferman at the occasions themselves or acquired from other collectors.

Only 100 of these artist-signed, archival-quality prints will be sold.

The poster includes hockey tickets—like Soiferman’s stub from the final game (Habs vs. Dallas)—and concert stubs from Bob Dylan, Genesis, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Styx, Stevie Wonder, Dire Straits, The Bee Gees, Neil Young, the Ice Capades, and more.

At the centre is a photo he took of the Forum in 1996, as featured in his 2016 book “Last Game at The Forum”.

You might also spot two rare red Canadiens matchbooks from his “Montréallumette” collection, part of which is currently on display at the McCord-Stewart Museum (until October 2026).

The tribute poster is a hand-arranged montage (no Photoshop, no AI).

To order a 16”x24” print of "Forum de Montréal" (the montage in Photo #1) for your home, office, or as a gift, email: ezrasoif at gmail dot com or visit the Contact link on this site.
